Relationships and Behaviour Support
Relationships and behaviour support is an important part of our school. Behaviour can affect children’s ability to form positive relationships and access learning. Therefore, it is important that children have the right support in place to enable them to learn and reach their full potential. Where required, teachers will provide parents with relationships and behaviour support strategies to be used at home as well as at school.
The aim of this is to give the child a clear and consistent approach across all settings as this is the most effective way.
Teachers may also put a relationships and behaviour support plan together specifically for the school setting to support your child and enable them to access learning safely. These will be shared and put together in conjunction with parents where applicable or necessary. If your child is exhibiting a new or existing behaviours which concerns you, please speak to your child’s class teacher so that we are able to support you.
