Personalised Learning Plans (PLP)
Each child will have an Personailsed Learning Plan (PLP) written by the class teacher. Your child’s PLP will include two or three targets to reflect the main goals we will be working towards. This does not mean that we will not be working on anything else, but that these are main areas of focus. Your child’s PLP targets will be informed by observations carried out during the first few weeks, discussions with the relevant therapists involved in your child’s programme and also from information obtained from families and caregivers. PLPs will be reviewed every term by teachers and we will have opportunities each term to discuss progress, developments or changes in these with families in specified meetings.
